So it’s been over 10 years since the Agile Manifesto surfaced. In fact, the signatories met at the Agile 2011 conference last year in Salt Lake City to commemorate the 10th year anniversary. A lot has happened in the first ten years of agile. The methods have matured and gained near mainstream adoption across a wide variety of domains. I personally believe they’ve proved themselves everywhere by now.
You’d think that after all this time that agile adoption would be smooth and the transition for many of our functional disciplines nearly by-rote. Yet, you still see many functions struggling with moving towards agility: Organizational & Functional Management, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and yes…QA & Testers find the agile journey to be a tough one.
Of particular interest to me are the challenges facing traditional testers moving into agile teams. What are they keys to making the move well, what are some of the key challenges I’ve seen, and how to move through them. Beyond facing the challenges, the goal should be to achieve a true agile mindset when it comes to quality and testing. Why? Because I’ve seen the difference that outstanding developers and outstanding testers make within a healthy, truly collaborative and cross-functional agile team.
They drive customer value, while building great, high quality software. They work as a team and they have fun while doing so. That’s why I’m sharing this webinar-in the hope of helping testers effectively traverse this path.
This webinar will take place on 8th March at 1pm GMT (check your local time).
