Share your views on this question with the rest of the EuroSTAR Software Testing Community. Do you think developers can test their own code – or the code of other testers within their organisation? Or are the required skills for each role totally different?

If developers don’t make good testers, what role (if any) should they play in testing? Can developers learn how to test their own code? Are there skills that testers can learn from developers? Are there skills that developers can learn from testers?
