This is it! EuroSTAR 2018 is starting on Monday and we can’t wait to welcome all the attendees to the World Forum in the Hague! This blog will give you a quick run through of the things to know, although most of this is covered in conference guidebooks.

First Stop – Reception

The minute you arrive to the World Forum in the Hague, head down to the reception to get your badge. You should stand in the lane that has the first letter of your last name in it. So, if your last name is Jenkins, you should go to the J lane, if your last name is “van Diesel”, go to the D lane as it is the first letter of the very last name. Keep the conference brochure with you at all times as it has all the tutorial talks with descriptions included.

Familiarize Yourself With the Map

In your brochure, check out the map of the building to get familiar where the talks are taking place. . The rooms are named  as follows: Oceania, Europe1, Europe 2, Asia, King William- Alexander, Amazon. The talks will happen on either level 0 or level 1.

Get the EuroSTAR App

We have launched the app especially for this year’s conference to help you get around the event in a smoother way. You will find the link to the app on page 2 of the brochure we will give you at the reception. With this app you’ll have all the details in one place. We even included the community forum, latest Twitter updates and even a feedback section for you to fill in.

Visit the Expo Area

Visit the expo and check out each stands. We have a great number of exhibitors ready to have a chat with you. There are also 3 areas that would be beneficial for you to check out: The Huddle Area, The Test Lab Area and the Test Clinic Area.  The Huddle Area where you can play games, socialize with others, solve problems, exchange knowledge and more. The Test Clinic Area offers you the chance to get your software testing problems solved by experts in the field. Come to the doctor’s clinic for help. And the Test Lab Area gives you an opportunity to meet new friends and to learn something new outside of the conventional classroom setting or your working environment. This year at the Test Lab you can expect robots, some games, practical sessions for your testing and lots more.
