Statement “we can’t test everything” is a truism in IT industry. Technology and business constraints enforce choices on what, when and how to tests. These are not easy decisions and their consequences are hard to predict. Test professionals, developers and business would frequently wish to have a crystal ball to look into the future.

In the absence of crystal balls in retail the wisdom of crowds theory helps the organizations to aggregate the information present in the groups for better decision making.
