During this session, Claudia will introduce the concepts of usability and user experience, and explain how we, as testers, can collaborate towards building usable and useful software. Claudia will cover Jakob Nielsen’s usability heuristics and different considerations when performing usability testing with users.

    Claudia Badell - Senior Quality Engineer, Portchain, Uruguay

    Claudia Badell is an agile enthusiast with a strong background in software testing and more than 12 years of experience. She is passionate about building and fostering a whole-team approach towards testing and quality. Currently she works as a Senior Quality Engineer, and also co-organises TestingUy conference. In the past, she has implemented testing processes for several teams, and trained them in test automation.

    Claudia has a Computer Engineer degree, has taken the Foundations and Bug Advocacy courses by the Association for Software Testing, has completed the Rapid Software Testing course, and holds both Scrum Master and ISTQB Foundation certifications.
