Bob van de Burgt’s “Lessons Learned in Test Management” Webinar Review

Today we’ve reached the halfway mark of the Best of EuroSTAR Conference 2012 webinar week (part II) with the interesting webinar “Lessons Learned in Test Management” presented by the 2012 European Testing Excellence Award winner Bob van de Burgt, summarising the tutorial given on the subject which he presented with his colleague Iris Pinkster O’Riordan, at the 2012 EuroSTAR conference.
Bob Van de Burgt and others developed a Test Management Model around 10 years ago, that was embodied both in a book and a EuroSTAR tutorial at that time. Now, with 10 years of experience around the application of this model to a variety of environments, both agile and traditional, Bob has summarised in this webinar the basics of the model and the main challenges he has encountered in these years of putting the Test Management Model into practice.
The presented model is made of 8 steps separated in 2 groups of 4, preparation and execution of testing, as you can see in the image below:
