Meet the latest EuroSTAR Honorary Members-->
For over twenty years, the EuroSTAR Software Testing Conference has been Europe’s biggest and most successful software testing gathering. Over the years we have had the great privilege of meeting lots of new faces at our conference, many of which have stuck around and attended most, if not all, of the EuroSTAR Conferences since its inception in 1993. We like to acknowledge these particular attendees by making them honorary members.
To become an honorary member, you must attend 20 EuroSTAR Conferences and we are delighted to add two new members to this elite club: Paul Gerrard and Graham Freeburn.
Paul is an ever present figure on the EuroSTAR Programme and he was Programme Chair for the EuroSTAR Conference 2014 in Dublin. He also won the EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award 2010 as well as the inaugural TESTA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
Paul will be presenting a tutorial on Putting Models at the Heart of Testing at EuroSTAR 2015 in Maastricht.

Graham is a Principal Testing Consultant at Sopra Steria and has been involved in testing for over 20 years. He has spoken at EuroSTAR thirteen times including track & tutorial sessions and was one of the first people to advocate use of mindmaps within testing. Co-founder and chair of the Scottish Testing Group and his testing skills aren’t only in software – he runs masterclasses in whisky tasting which was a huge hit at the EuroSTAR Conference 2013.
“I am delighted to become an Honorary member of EuroSTAR. I’ve enjoyed every one I have attended and consider it my annual Testing Battery Recharge”.
Our EuroSTAR reporter, Nick Shaw, spoke with Graham at EuroSTAR 2014 and asked him about his history with EuroSTAR. Here is what he had to say…
We look forward to seeing Paul and Graham, as well as out other honorary members, at many more EuroSTAR Conferences.
