      Ulrik has been working with technical test and test automation since the last millenium. He has been working with both comercial, inhouse developed and open source test frameworks. He has experienced the disadvantages of not involving developers in review of his test code. Luckily, Ulrik has also tried the opposite and has grown as a technical tester because of it.

      Anders is a full-stack developer with experience within public sector . He primarily works within the open source Java ecosystem (Spring/Groovy/Grails) and web development / integration. Anders always tries to commit back to open source world everytime he can get away with it. Anders has experienced organisations where developers had to do all testing, organisations with dedicated testers for manual testing and organisations with dedicated testers for both manual and automated testing.     Declan O’Riordan is an NCSC certified Security & Information Risk Advisor. In 2014, he won the EuroSTAR prize for best conference paper and his debut talk was voted the ‘do over’ session.     Ola Løvholm

    Position - Technical tester and software developer , Sopra Steria, Norway

    Ola Løvholm is an Oslo-based technical tester and software developer working in the test department of Sopra Steria. Through several large-scale and complex IT projects, he has worked with test data management and the development of tools and methodologies to facilitate easier testing. In addition, he has together with Martin led the Technical Testing group at Sopra Steria Scandinavia. For several years, Ola has had an interest in data, and before working more specifically with testing, he wrote a master thesis on open public data and worked with data analysis in research. In his spare time, he works with hobbyist coding projects and enjoys the recreational qualities of nature.

    Martin Sommervold has worked in software development, DevOps, technical test and test management for over a decade. He’s been a part of both small and large software development projects, and has gravitated towards building support systems for the development process.     Vojtěch Barta

    Vojtěch Barta has been in the area of Quality Assurance for 10 years now. His motto is “Quality as the satisfaction of all stakeholders” when the whole team needs to be aligned with it.

    He has worked in several different roles like QA, Tester, Lead of QA department, Business Analyst, Mentor, Trainer etc.

    His current role is QA lead and Scrum Master in Newired serving small team delivering own software in the area of On-boarding, guiding and UX.

    Vojtěch has a good understanding of and experience with Agile development, mainly with Scrum and Kanban. He is open-minded and always thinks in the context of each particular project applying his experience to achieve the project goals without compromising the quality of the delivery. He worked on multicultural projects, both distributed and collocated.

    Quality Assurance is far more than only testing. However, testing is an important piece of the puzzle. Vojtěch likes the balance between structured and unstructured testing when effective test automation is the key to success.

    The main focus has to be on Defect prevention and delivering the real value.
