Social Events Line-up for the 2014 EuroSTAR Conference-->
With the Super Early Bird deadline tomorrow, lots of you have got your tickets for the 2014 EuroSTAR Conference and we have an amazing schedule organised for you!
With such a great conference programme, each day would not be complete without an amazing social event to wrap things up.
For those of you who don’t know, the EuroSTAR Conference team are based in Galway, Ireland. So we are very excited to welcome you all to Ireland for the first time in the history of over 20 years of EuroSTAR Conferences.
Expect a huge ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ (One Hundred Thousand Welcomes) as we host our key social events at two of Dublin’s most iconic landmark venues – Croke Park Stadium and Trinity College.
Here’s the line-up of social events at the conference:
After a day of intensive learning in the full-day tutorials we will be going for some post-tutorial drinks for some networking.
Venue to be confirmed.
After a day packed full of intensive learning, thought-provoking sessions and meeting loads of new people, it will be time to relax and join your fellow delegates for some welcome drinks in the Expo. The welcome drinks will start at 6:30pm and will feature various optional fun networking activities in the Community Hub and a full programme of events in the Test Lab.
The 2014 Community Dinner – Trinity College Dublin
Starting straight after the Expo drinks we will be getting buses to the iconic Trinity College for the 2014 Community Dinner. There will be food, drink and the opportunity to continue the testing conversations in the Dining Hall of Trinity College. Situated in the heart of the campus, the Dining Hall is a magnificently restored 18th century building. Opening it’s doors is like taking a step back in time. The old world charm of its dark oak wood panelling, high ceiling, ornamental plasterwork and original oil paintings transport you to a different era.
You must pre-book your ticket to attend this event as places are limited. The option to purchase a ticket to this event is in your conference registration form.
The EuroSTAR Conference Awards Dinner
This year’s main conference party will take place in one of Ireland’s most historic venues, Croke Park. This magnificent stadium has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over a hundred years. Boasting a capacity for 82,300 people, Croak Park is the home of Gaelic games and the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).
GAA Museum Tour
Before you sit down to a delicious meal you will get the opportunity to explore the GAA Museum and learn about Ireland’s national games of hurling and Gaelic football and the GAA’s enormous contribution to Irish sporting, cultural and social life since its foundation in 1884.
Buses will depart the Convention Center for Croke Park at 6:30pm for pre-dinner drinks from 7.15pm
We will be organising and After-Conference session, probably in a local Irish pub where we will continue the networking and have some more ‘craic’ (Irish for fun). Let us know if you are staying in Dublin on Thursday night and stay tuned for more details.
