It brings us a lot of sadness to announce you that the 2014 EuroSTAR Conference has closed its gates. It passed in a glimpse of an eye, leaving everyone wanting more of it.

Although it was a short day, it didn’t break the habit of delivering useful information. The optimistic tone was set in the early keynote by Schmuel Gershon reminding us that we are all superheroes, able to save civilisation by our quest for knowledge. Poetry and passion were added to the technical mix in both blocks of sessions. Everything is connected, as the final keynote underlined. With many thought-provoking quotes and a punkicorn, Zeger van Hese managed to wrap up this year`s theme “Diversity, Innovation, Leadership”.

Since it was the last day, we couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to go and talk to people, and ask them about the mark the conference has left on them. We really wanted to see how the apprentices experienced their first Test Lab, impressions which we have shared with you in the video.

The Closing Remarks disclosed the theme and location for next year`s conference: “Walking the Testing Talk” in Maastricht (2-5 Nov 2015), leaving us with a first item on our New Year`s resolution list.

For now, Sláinte!
