Emotional Intelligence at Work

When it comes to excelling in your job and building a career, we usually bring a wealth of expertise to the table. We dedicate significant time to studying and mastering essential topics that define our role, whether it is software development, quality assurance or product management.

Such primary skills as communication, the ability to read the environment, knowledge of how to create a safe and motivating atmosphere, and the ability to give effective feedback are often left to intuitive and “blind” journeys.

Moreover, having over 5 years of working experience in QA myself, I know how conflictual that role may be perceived if one does not approach communication and emotional aspects correctly.

My workshop works on topics as:

  • Psychological safety, Diversity and Empathy at work – what it really means, how it influences productivity and efficiency, and how to achieve it.
  • Emotional Intelligence Matrix and how to recognise emotions in self and others
  • Effective communication and sources of misunderstanding in a work environment

The workshop contains a maximum of practical exercises that help participants digest scientific information about the topics, experience it, and improve.

It will help participants become better communicators and strategically manage their emotional resources to avoid burnout in themselves and their subordinates.

Tatiana Lukyanova is an Emotional Intelligence and Agile Coach based in the Netherlands. Tatiana has over 15 years of experience in Product Management and Business Development.

Successful at creating hyper-productive teams, she is now coaching effective communication, process transformation, and leadership. Tatiana has an MSc in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility Analysis at Manchester Metropolitan University.

She is the author of books “A User Guide to the Unconscious Mind” and “Psychology of Change Management.”
