Sure AI Can Write Test code. Here’s How To Get *Good* Code

09:00 - 12:30 CEST, Monday 15th June

It is super obvious that AI can create code very quickly. QA people know the real story. This generated code can be of unpredictable quality. AI generated code doesn’t always follow clear consistent patterns so it can be difficult to read and maintain.

I don’t trust ai (or any software) to own my test automation suite. I want my humans to be able to understand, maintain and improve my test code as they desire.

This session will demonstrate how to guide AI to consistently produce readable and maintainable test automaton code following patterns that I (a very picky human) have specified. We will define high level plans of how to meet our objective, provide AI with documentation and sample code describing what we want done, so that we can quickly generate *exactly* the test code that we desire.

When the proper plans and context are provided to AI the results are almost magical… test automation code that we can be proud of.
