The 2025 EuroSTAR Conference will be in Scotland, in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), 10mins from the city center.
Edinburgh is a city with breathtaking history, nature, and architecture to explore around every corner. Build on 350-million-year-old (extinct!) volcanoes, it’s filled with large medieval streets and majestic civic squares, with beautiful views everywhere you look. Edinburgh is a compact city, so one of the easiest ways to get around is to walk. It’s also cycle-friendly city, with off-road bike paths, cycle lanes, forward stop lines at traffic lights, and lower speed limits in the city centre.

How to get to EuroSTAR
By Train
Edinburgh has two railway stations: Haymarket Station is just 0.4 miles from EICC, serving commuter and UK routes. Waverley Station is 1.3 miles from EICC, with direct routes nationwide. Check Scot Rail or Trainline for more information.
By Bus/Metro
Edinburgh’s bus network is accessible and reliable. The nearest tram stop is just 650 meters away from the EICC. Trams run every 7 minutes from Edinburgh Airport to York Place and onto Newhaven (between 5.30am – 11.30pm). You can get to the city centre in under 30 minutes. The closest stop to EICC is at Haymarket Station. Exit Haymarket Station, head east towards the pedestrian crossing, and walk straight up Morrison Street to find EICC on the left.

By Plane
Edinburgh Airport is 10km from the EICC. Edinburgh is less than a 2-hour flight from from most major European cities. The city is served by Edinburgh Airport. It hosts over 313 flights a day, with 37 airlines serving 227 routes to 122 destinations. Ryanair and EasyJet offer the largest number of non-stop flight connections from Edinburgh to international destinations.
From the Airport
The Airlink 100 operates a frequent bus service (every 10 minutes at peak times) between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre, with designated stops en route. The service starts at 04.30 and runs until 00.22 at night, with the journey taking 20 minutes. Tickets cost £4.50 single and £7.50 return. Disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and to follow signs for EICC on foot (5 minute walk). See city centre map for directions.
The N22 bus also departs from outside the Airport entrance and runs every half an hour through the night until the Airlink service starts again.
There is an excellent taxi service from the airport to the city. You’ll find official airport taxis at the taxi rank outside the terminal building (follow the signs within the airport). It costs approximately £15 to get a taxi from the airport to the city centre and the journey takes 20 minutes depending on the time of day.
