About our Programme Committee

Abigail Cauchi, Malta
As the Test Automation Manager within the FDJ UNITED organization, I lead the strategy and execution of scalable, high-impact test automation initiatives that align with business and engineering goals. I’m passionate about building strong automation foundations, empowering teams to shift left, and ensuring rapid, reliable delivery of high-quality software.
I’m a firm believer in thoughtful leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the power of automation to deliver better, faster, and more resilient systems.

Andrea Jensen, Germany
Andrea started her first gig in tech in 2011 by coincidence and decided to stay. She became a Quality Advocate and professional Question Asker, sharing her love for exploratory testing, teaming and good software quality with everyone who crosses her path. Today, Andrea works as a tester in the maritime industry. Since 2023, she has been leading a team across continents through the perils of software quality.
Outside of work, she enjoys engaging with the tech community as a speaker, as a podcast guest, and since 2025 also as a conference board member for the German Testing Day. She enjoys travelling, but when not roaming around, you may find her at her favourite spot with a decent cup of tea, diving into books.

Brijesh Deb, Netherlands
Brijesh Deb is a quality engineering leader with 25+ years in software testing, AI, and Agile transformation.
Co Founder & Chief Enablement Officer at The Test Chat and Principal Consultant at Infosys, he has delivered customer-centric solutions across domains. Known for his systems thinking and ethical, context-driven approach, he views Agile as a cultural shift fostering collaboration and purposeful teams.
Widely recognized for bold perspectives on testing, leadership, and AI, he shares insights through LinkedIn, Medium, his podcast TesterSpeak, and global conferences. Based in the Netherlands, he mentors professionals worldwide and finds inspiration in simple moments with his son.

Wouter Ruigrok, Netherlands
Wouter spent his career helping organizations deliver better software, but what truly drives him is helping people adapt to change.
Starting in quality engineering and testing, Wouter quickly discovered that quality is more than finding defects; it is about creating confidence, enabling innovation, and bringing people together around a shared vision. The past 15 years, he worked with organizations across industries, helping them embrace Agile, DevOps, and more recently Generative AI to transform the way software is built and delivered.
Today, as a Lead Management Consultant at Sogeti, Wouter focuses on the intersection of Quality Engineering, GenAI, and Agentic AI. He is passionate about exploring how emerging technologies are reshaping the role of testers and quality engineers, not by replacing human expertise, but by amplifying it.
As an international speaker, co-author of Quality for DevOps Teams, and contributor to initiatives such as the Sogeti GenAI Amplifier, Wouter enjoys challenging conventional thinking and inspiring audiences to look beyond today’s practices toward the future of quality engineering.
Community Reviewers
Each year, members of the testing community that give their time, knowledge and experience to review the hundreds of EuroSTAR talk submissions. Each reviewer takes a manageable fraction of the total submissions and this helps our Programme Team create the EuroSTAR programme with the most relevant topics each year.
If you are interested in joining our panel of reviewers for 2027, please contact our Programme Manager, Siobhán, via email. Thank you to everyone who reviewed our 2026 submissions .
When we say the EuroSTAR Conference programme is created by the community for the community – this is not just a catchphrase! It is the cornerstone of what EuroSTAR is about. Our annual conference and the year-long online learning is all to help testers and quality assurance professionals thrive. Working together, the testing community is a powerful force and it helps everyone to develop and improve.
