Getting to Prague

Prague’s location in the heart of Europe makes the city easily accessible to travellers from almost all countries.

By Air

The maximum flying time from all major European cities is 2.5 hours. 52 airlines fly into Václav Havel Airport Prague from 110 destinations in 42 countries. There are also low cost providers. The Airport has two Terminals, Terminal 1 and 2.

By Train

Prague has several train stations – most international trains arrive at the Main Railway Station (Hlavní Nádraží) with some into Holešovice Station (Nádraží Holešovice). These stations are connected to the underground line C (red line) which leads directly to the Prague Congress Centre

By Car

You can reach Prague by highway from all directions – GPS: 50.062112,14.428886

  • From the North – Highway E55
  • From the South – Highway E50
  • From the West – Highway E50
  • From the East – Highway E67

The Prague Congress Centre is adjacent to the North-South Prague City Expressway – follow the road signs for Kongresové centrum Praha

 

From the Airport

By Taxi

A taxi from the airport to the Prague Congress Centre will take approximately 30–45 minutes and costs approx. 30 EUR.

Public Transport

From the Václav Havel Airport: bus 119 to Nádraží Veleslavín – metro line A (direction Depo Hostivař) to Muzeum station – transfer to line C direction Háje to Vyšehrad station (2 stops)

From Prague main station: metro C line direction Háje to Vyšehrad station (4 stops)

From Florenc bus terminal: metro C line direction Háje to Vyšehrad station (5 stops)

From the city centre

The Prague Congress Centre can be easily reached by metro line C (red line) to the station “Vyšehrad”, the PCC is located just in front of the metro station. Tickets can be purchased in automatic machines at each metro station. The ticket costs The ticket fare is 32 CZK (1.2 EUR) and is valid for 90 minutes. Please note that you need to mark the ticket when you enter the metro/tram/bus for the first time.
