In daily life I am an amateur (baritone!) saxophonist, and an experienced software tester. Living in the center of Netherlands, you can find me exploring nature, visiting at a concert or the theater.

I enjoy working in complex environments, and do not shy away from a challenge, whether it be complexity through technical difficulties or because of a political environment. In any free time that is left, I am an avid gamer (Nintendo!) and enjoy reading (mostly fantasy, currently).

Yvonne Vos

Drs. Yvonne Vos is an interim manager, certified DISC specialist, trainer, entrepreneur, and mother. She studied Economics at the University of Amsterdam and subsequently held various general management roles in both profit and non-profit organizations. With a sharp eye for organizational development, Yvonne supports teams and leaders in strengthening their communication, collaboration, and professional presence.

As a DISC trainer, she delivers training programs and workshops in etiquette, social skills, and professional conduct. Her approach is practical, accessible, and focused on immediate application in daily work.

Yvonne believes that social skills are essential for both personal and professional success, and that you can never start developing them too early. This is why she is actively involved in education, serving as a Steward trainer and contributing to programs that help young people build strong communicative and social competencies.

Paula Bassagañas

Paula is an IT Architect based in Germany, specializing in Test Engineering and Backend development. Her career spans various industries, with a focus on the health sector, where she has developed data platform test strategies, particularly for ETL processes.

Currently, Paula’s working on implementing AI in testing to enhance automation and efficiency. She has extensive experience in DevOps, backend development, cloud computing, and testing methodologies to ensure high-quality software.

Additionally, Paula teaches at Pompeu Fabra University, mentoring future IT professionals. Paula is committed to continuous learning and sharing her knowledge to drive growth and excellence.

Linda van de Vooren

Linda enjoys working in complex environments, and doesn’t shy away from a challenge, whether it be complexity through technical difficulties or because of a political environment (or both!). She’s experienced in test management, team coaching, and agile practices. She has done assignments in many different branches, and in a variety of roles (most enjoying: test manager, scrum master, team coach, product owner). She is a (keynote) speaker and enjoys giving training and mentoring to fellow testers (in any level of testing experience). In her free time she is a gamer and enjoys reading. Linda is also an amateur (baritone) saxophonist who plays in two woodwind orchestras and she volunteers as the chairperson of the board for the music association belonging to one of those woodwind orchestras. She lives in the centre of Netherlands, where you can find her exploring nature or doing cultural activities.

Paul Gerrard is a consultant, teacher, author, and speaker specializing in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on test assurance. He has delivered keynote talks and tutorials at major conferences globally, including in Europe, the USA, Australia, and South Africa. Paul is a Principal at Gerrard Consulting Limited and co-director of Technology Unleashed. He has served as Programme Chair for the EuroSTAR conference and other industry events. Paul has received several prestigious awards, including the EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award (2010), the TESTA Lifetime Achievement Award (2013), and the ISTQB Testing Excellence Award (2018). He is leading an initiative to create the Test Engineering Society, a professional body for test engineers.

Bart Knaack is an IT consultant at at Professional Testing B.V. Bart has more than twenty years of experience in testing and test management. He’s contributed to testing projects and processes in roles of test manager, test data management team lead, and process improvement agent. Bart has coached testers, built up test teams and developed processes in test, test support and overall quality management and improvement. Bart is a frequent speaker at conferences, universities, and colleges. At EuroSTAR 2009, Bart co-founded the TestLab with James Lydnsay.

Fiona Østensvig

Fiona is professional test leader and advisor, and she loves to meet people and discuss diversity and collaboration.

How can we get better together? – is one of her mantras. She has given several workshops and talks at conferences in Europe and Norway. Fiona has also been an active board member in the Norwegian computer society for many years.

She was part of the group started up Odin, a testing conference in Norway. She has both held the role as program chair and is now a part of the programme committee.

Tone has a great passion for test, people diversity, communication, and collaboration. She has many years of experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. She is concerned with diversity and interaction across groups.

(You are at your best when you work in a team) Tone has given several talks/workshops at various conferences, e.g. EuroSTAR where she has also been on the program committee twice.

Tone has been an active board member in the Norwegian computer society for over 20 years. She has chaired the DND’s testing group and is also part of the programme committee for the Norwegian software testing conference Odin.
