Alejandra Ugarte Bedwell

Public, Denmark

Lives and works in Copenhagen. Obtained her MFA in Advanced Photographic Studies from the International Center of Photography-Bard College in 2010 and worked as a digital lab assistant during her studies and after graduation, where her she found her passion for troubleshooting software.

In the past, she has collaborated as a production designer for film and video projects and has worked as a software tester for almost ten years, across different products and companies. In her free time, she can be found walking as part of an all-female metal marching band in several events across Denmark.

Iris Pinkster

Professional Testing B.V., Netherlands

Iris Pinkster – O’Riordain is test manager / test advisor at Professional Testing and has experience in testing and test management since 1996. She co-developed Logica’s method for structured testing: TestFrame ®, their test management approach and TestGrip, the method on test policy and test organization.

She is co-author of the books published on these topics. She often speaks at (inter) national conferences. In 2007 she won the EuroSTAR award for “Best Tutorial”. In 2017 she was Program Chair for EuroSTAR. In 2019 she was Program Chair for Expo:QA in Madrid.

Fieke de Vreede

DUO, Netherlands

Fieke de Vreede works as a test engineer in a DevOps team at Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs in the Netherlands. She mixes backend- and frontend testing as well as test automation and exploratory testing. Her current interests in testing are a11y and user experience and she is an advocate for women in IT. Before switching to testing she worked as an English teacher at a secondary school after her Master’s in English Language and Culture from the University of Groningen. Fieke lives in the north of the Netherlands with her husband and three kids and enjoys reading English novels, singing and crochet. 

Lena Nyström

TestScouts, Sweden

Lena has been building software since 1999, in roles across development, testing, leadership and management. Lena found her passion in testing a decade later and has been focusing on quality in software since then.

She is especially interested in asking “should we build that” when others focus on “could we build that”.

Her core drive is continuous improvement and she strongly believes we all should strive to challenge ourselves, our assumptions and the way things are done. She is the author/creator of “Would Heu-risk it?”, a MASH core member, an avid blogger and keynote speaker.

I have been working in the testing industry since the start of this century, and i love to perform different testing roles. Most of all I enjoy working with, and to inspire all the people needed for a successful testprocess. I am good at motivating testresources and get the job done within timeframe and the assignment I have been given.

I also like to do more than what is expected of me, just to give the client and my coworkers extra value. When I`m not working I like to exercise, sometimes on one of my bicycles.

Jome Maria Princil

Jome Maria Princil is QA Lead at Funda Real Estate B.V., the leading real estate state platform in the Netherlands. She has over 18 years of experience in ICT, specializing in Quality Assurance. She started off her career as a data-warehouse tester, transitioning to game development and testing, ending up finally in web and app testing.

She is passionate about developing a deeper understanding of what makes testing effective and what doesn’t. She is constantly fascinated about developments that lead to better testing and more value for end users. She is also an avid reader and movie buff.

Oliver Heldt

CipSoft, GmbH Germany

I’m Oliver Heldt and testing games at CipSoft in Regensburg. We develop vibrant online game worlds, and I’ve been part of the testing team for many years. Before joining CipSoft, i spent a long time as a systems administrator, where troubleshooting and problem-recreation were already my daily bread.

In 2015, I went to the automotive industry as a software tester. I was heavily involved with games in my youth, which is why I was drawn to the games industry in 2017. Today i put a lot of heart and soul into our games, creativity, and a healthy dose of exploration.

Megan Ozanne

Clue Software Ltd, UK

I am a Passionate QA who took the ‘not so standard’ route into the industry. I started off my career working in horseracing!

I started my testing career testing a combination of hardware and software in a medical company before moving over to a soley software based role. Very quickly my passion and enthusiasm led me to be the QA lead at a start-up where my drive to improve quality practices across the entire buisness blossomed.

I aim to share my passion and drive with others in order to help build out better quality practices across the board.

Ard Kramer

OrangeCrest, Netherlands

Ard is a software tester from the Netherlands working at OrangeCrest. He calls himself a Qualisopher: someone “who loves truth and wisdom and at the same time is decisive to improve people and their environment.” This perspective shapes his work in software testing and beyond.

As a former volleyball coach and current sport leader, Ard applies lessons from the court—focus, teamwork, and resilience—to quality and testing. His dream as a Qualisopher is to contribute to diverse projects in sports, culture, and IT, always seeking to learn, share, and create meaningful impact.
