Rikard Edgren

Rikard Edgren describes himself as a humanistic and technical tester since 1998, specialized in generalities like test strategy and exploratory testing. Thus far Rikard has had twelve speaking appearances at EuroSTAR and was a winner of the Best Conference Tutorial Award in 2014, 2020 and 2024, and Programme Chair in 2018. Rikard is a member of the think-tank The Test Eye, co-author of Software Quality Characteristics, author of The Little Black Book on Test Design and Den Lilla Svarta om Teststrategi.
Rikard currently works as Test expert at Inera, Sweden, working with Swedish healthcare infrastructure.

Initially joining as a Tricentis consultant and now in-house, he today champions UiPath Test Cloud as the ideal playground for keeping pace with AI – enabling innovative ideas and high-quality outcomes that benefit the entire organization.

Michael Kutz

Entropy Data, Germany

Michael Kutz is a Staff Engineer at Entropy Data and the creator of the open-source testing tool ApproveJ (approvej.org).

Having spent nearly 12 years as a Principal Engineer at REWE digital, he has spearheaded test automation, SRE practices, and enterprise-wide QA standards.

As an international speaker, Michael is deeply fascinated by the intersection of code and human psychology. His current focus is how metrics and cognitive biases subconsciously drive our behavior, shaping agile processes and software quality.

When he is not analyzing complex systems, he enjoys lacing up his running shoes, gaming, and exploring sci-fi universes.
