Alex is a passionate tester whose favourite topics are quality, agility and humans. She is CEO and Head of Quality at Bredex GmbH. In these roles, she supports colleagues, customers and teams on their journey to better quality – be it in products, in processes or in their communication. 

In previous roles, she was responsible for enabling teams and growing quality. Now she enables others to do that work, and works on nurturing a system in the company where everyone can flourish.

Ayal started as a QA engineer for WinRunner and QuickTest Professional and has seen how the industry has changed over the last twenty years. Ayal has helped hundreds of customers build their test automation suites and improve their automation ROI.

Kimberly Snoyl

UX Researcher & Sr. Tester – Capgemini, Netherlands

Kimberly Snoyl is a senior software tester with nearly 8 years of experience in Testing, and also added the role UX Designer to her skillset since 2020. With a Masters in Human Media Interaction, she focuses on UX Testing, and gives a Usability Testing course to her colleagues. She is leader of the UX Testing Guild at Capgemini, which aims to spread awareness amongst testers on the importance of UX Testing (e.g. Usability and Accessibility testing). She also started a chapter of Ladies that UX in Utrecht, the Netherlands which has the goal to bring the UX community in Utrecht together by providing monthly meetups where members can share their experiences.

Zoran Gjorgiev

Job Quality Assistance Engineer – InnoGames, Germany

Zoran Gjorgiev is a passionate explorer of the testing world, currently working as a Senior Quality Assistance Engineer at InnoGames. His journey began as a Community Manager for Forge of Empires, but his passion and efforts towards the game’s quality standards lead him to join the ranks of QAE. He finds QA a peculiar role which beyond testing knowledge and automation, benefits heavily from coaching and engagement with the whole team. He embraces challenges and strives for growth both on a personal and team level. Seeing the team take on the quality mindset is what keeps him motivated.

I have worked as Technical Test Analyst with helsenorge.no (national ehealth portal in Norway) since 2014. I focus primarily on test automation and security testing and have obtained 6 technical ISTQB certifications during 2014-2021. I have presented some of our work at top-ranked peer-review academic conferences such as ASE2021, ASE2020 and QRS2020.

Prior to 2014 I was researcher and developer.

Dr Andrew Brown is a principal consultant at Expleo. He leads an independent line of research into understanding why we humans make the mistakes that lead to software defects.

He has 25 years’ experience in the software industry. Previous roles include Head of QA at HMV, Head of QA at a financial software house and a test manager in Japan.

He holds a degree in Physics and Maths, an MBA from Warwick Business School and a doctorate from Imperial College.
