Vipin Jain

Delivery Manager – Metacube Software, India

Vipin Jain has 23 years of experience in the IT industry, during which he has acquired great knowledge in software projects, methodologies and quality. He has dedicated the last 18 years of his career to Software Quality. Currently, he works for Metacube Software as Head QA and Deliveries, and is involved in establishing QCE in his company, directing delivery operations. He is an avid speaker and writer, loves to participate in conferences and has given talks nationally and internationally.

He is a member of several technical committees of various international organizations like HUSTEF and QA&Test, and has participated in Testcon, SQA Days, ATD, HUSTEF, TestingUY Uruguay, TestingUnited, TestingCup, WrotQA, QA & Test, ExpoQA, Belgrade Testing Conference, World Testing Conference in Bangalore and other national conferences. He has published over 30 blogs on various platforms. Some of his articles have been published in Testing Planet and Testing Planet magazine, and he has also been involved in the writing of several books on software engineering and web technologies

Keith Klain

Director of Quality Engineering – KPMG, UK

For over 25 years, Keith Klain has worked on some of the toughest software testing challenges in enterprise technology, for some of the biggest financial services and consulting firms across the globe. As a Director of Quality Engineering at KPMG UK, he leads software quality, automation, process improvement, risk management, and digital transformation initiatives for retail, banking, and capital markets clients.

He is also an advocate for workforce development and social impact, having designed and delivered technology training curriculums for non-profits, to create technology delivery centers in disadvantaged communities. He has served as the Executive Vice President of the Association for Software Testing, and has received multiple awards and recognition for his contributions to the software testing profession, and the diversity in tech movement.

Vimmi Walia

A seasoned technologist, and a continuous learner, Vimmi has more than 16 years of experience in software engineering. She is leading Centre of Quality Excellence and working as head of Emerging QA and Performance Engineering practice at Nagarro.

A passionate QA, blogger, trainer, speaker, Vimmi is dynamic, self-motivated leader and believes in delivering value driven software quality. She has deep knowledge and experience in AI testing, Performance Testing, Test Automation, DevOps and proven QA delivery experience in different SDLC models like Agile, V model, waterfall. She is passionate about community driven learning specially in the area of technology. Manisha Mittal

In the wild world of QA engineering, my job description read something like: Embrace your inner creator! Hunt for flaws, and you must break the system. For the past 17 years, I’ve been bending, twisting, and stretching systems through various types of testing to ensure they last longer and stay user-friendly. It’s like giving our digital devices a daily workout, but without the sweatbands.  

My journey can be summed up as a quest for excellence, where I’ve worked in various domains & strong track record in leadership and management. I lead and manage diverse groups at Nagarro. From juggling code monkeys to taming the QA lions, my leadership skills are being tested every day. Furthermore, I’m on a quest for personal growth that’s more persistent than a raccoon raiding a trash can at midnight. I’m always hungry for knowledge and like a tech-hungry squirrel, I never miss a chance to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-changing world of new technologies!

Paul’s career spans nearly two decades in the Legal and Information Technology sectors. He has spent the last decade leading and being accountable for software quality assurance and testing on significant IT transformation projects for both public and private companies in the UK.

Paul is the Founder & CEO of afriQA , a Social Impact QA Outsourcing company that partners with Universities across Africa to recruit, train, and remotely deploy QA Engineers globally.

Holding a Master’s degree in International Business Law and an ISTQB Advanced Level Test Management certificate, Paul contributes his expertise to various fields. He is a 2023 judge for The European Software Testing Awards 2023. His interests include all aspects of technology, data protection and privacy law, as well as the legal and ethical issues involved in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and blockchains.

Kristina Sabotic

Kristina, “Stina”, has been working in QA for over ten years, and the last few years as a consultant for Zington. She loves operating in the grey area between tech and business, where there is need for a translator and sometimes a mediator. Favourite type of assignment is setting up test automation strategy for organizations that are new to automation. It’s diplomacy, techy know-how and change management rolled up in one! In the end you´re rewarded with seeing the team adopting that automation baby as its own. When not busy at work or with her family, Stina loves to knit and spin her own yarn for knitting.

Carin Norling

Carin has a history of many years in IT. First as a developer but then as a performance tester, test manager and test strategist. Over the years, she has alternated this with being a consultant manager, running her own business and now for 7 years responsible for Zington Quality.

Over the years, Carin has met many organizations and thus even more people, and gained a lot of knowledge about people. But a disease like fatigue is so difficult to detect and very important to talk about. After all, it’s not about just “biting the bullet” or toughening up, but about finding a sustainable balance in life.

Benjamin Johnson-Ward

Lead Solutions Engineer – Curiosity Software, USA

Before spending the past 10+ years pioneering testing techniques and tools, Benjamin studied economics at the world-leading London School of Economics. He focused on behavioral economics and econometrics, questioning how unconscious biases and economic structures influence behavior. Benjamin has since applied these insights to become a better tester, seeking to understand how unconscious biases can mislead the critical thinking that lies at the heart of testing.

Benjamin has applied this introspective mindset to his work as a tester at both start-ups and multinationals. He has helped shape testing techniques at global banks, retailers, insurance companies, telcos and beyond. He has occupied many of the roles associated with “quality”, including developer, product manager, automation engineer and tester. Benjamin’s work has often gravitated towards model-based testing and test data management. He has most recently focused on applications of Generative AI to testing, both as a product manager and delivery specialist of AI-driven tools.
