Jihad Ghandour

QA Manager – Murex, Lebanon

Jihad Ghandour is a Principal Quality Assurance Manager at Murex. Jihad works on projects to enhance Murex’s testing techniques, by embracing new methods or evolving existing tests. Jihad is an expert in the technical domains of the product, such as cluster management, security, and operability.

Indranil Sinha

Head of QA – Marginalen Bank, Sweden

Born and raised in Calcutta, India, Indranil pursued his doctoral degree in Biology, and two postdoctoral fellowships from renowned research institutions in Israel, Sweden, and USA.

In 2011, he received a three-month job opportunity at Marginalen Bank in Stockholm, Sweden, within IT. In 2012 he got a full-time job there, and slowly started testing software. The following years, Indranil realized the principal similarity between experimental research and software testing, and there was no looking back. Through the years worked in different roles, and finally in 2021, he was able to create a brand new QA department at Marginalen Bank.

Between 2019 and 2021, he conceptualized, and his team members implemented two innovative works within test automation. In 2021 he started his public speaking career. With direct support from his organization, Indranil organized what was probably the very first software testing conference in Banking and Finance in Stockholm: STCBF 2021 and STCBF 2022. Two of his innovative works led him to become a EuroSTAR RisingStar Award finalist in 2022 and 2023. In May 2023, Indranil organized a risk-based testing workshop by Michael Bolton at Marginalen. Outside of work, Indranil loves spending time with his family, and travelling in Europe.

Tina Knudsen

QA Manager – Capgemini, Denmark

Tina Knudsen is QA Manager for the Bookplan solution (Healthcare solution) and has overall responsibility for the quality of the solution. She is passionate about quality assurance and has more than 2 decades of experience in the field. Together with Tina, QA at Bookplan has grown from performing ad hoc tests to real quality assurance in an agile setup. Tina has given presentations at conferences both at home and abroad. (For example Agile Testing Days, Berlin). She has worked with translation and exam material for DSTB (Danish Software Testing Board) and she has had a major role in the Danish initiative group for the Erfa group TestVest.

Torvald Mårtensson

Technical Fellow within System Integration Testing – Saab Aeronautics, Sweden

Torvald Mårtensson is Technical Fellow within System Integration Testing at Saab Aeronautics. He has a background of nineteen years in the aeronautics industry and another eight years in the telecom industry. At Saab, Torvald works with test management and test strategy for functions and systems in the Gripen E fighter aircraft, as well as design and implementation of test environments and simulators. Before moving into the Gripen E program, Torvald was previously Assistant Chief Engineer in the development project for Gripen South Africa.

Torvald is also Associate Professor of Software Engineering (Senior Lecturer) at Linköping University. His research has primarily revolved around systems integration and system testing of large-scale and complex software systems, based on studies with multi-national companies in industry segments such as telecom, defense, logistics, surveillance and automotive.

For 17 years, she has realised that software quality cannot be ensured through testing alone but needs a comprehensive process-oriented approach underpinned by efficient practices.

Hristina firmly believes in early risk mitigation and intensive collaboration as key tools for delivering high-quality software.
