After studying computer science at the Vienna University of Technology, Manfred worked as a software developer for a large software company in the banking sector, and later as a quality manager for a provider of CRM solutions. Since 2001 he built up the QA consulting and training services of Nagarro GmbH, one of the leading service providers in the field of software testing.
He’s a board member of the Association for Software Quality and Further Education (ASQF) and the Association for Software Quality Management Austria (STEV), as well as a member of the Austrian Testing Board (ATB). Irina is a professional with 15 years of experience in testing and quality management. She has worked as a test consultant for most of her career, in various areas including transport, financial, human resources, and machine data. She is currently working as a Process Manager at BDO Holding B.V. in the Netherlands, where she is responsible for improving the process and product quality. She also puts her efforts into shaping a learning culture, with a focus on sharing experiences of different professionals and teams in order to learn and improve. She’s passionate about testing and quality management, and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience.

Michael Bolton

Consulting Software Tester – DevelopSense, Canada

Michael Bolton is a consulting software tester and testing teacher who helps people to solve testing problems that they didn’t realize they could solve. In 2006, he became co-author (with James Bach) of Rapid Software Testing (RST), a methodology and mindset for testing software expertly and credibly in uncertain conditions and under extreme time pressure. Since then, he has flown over a million miles to teach RST in 35 countries on six continents.

Michael has over 30 years of experience testing, developing, managing, and writing about software. For over 20 years, he has led DevelopSense, a Toronto-based testing and development consultancy. Prior to that, he was with Quarterdeck Corporation for eight years, during which he managed the company’s flagship products and directed project and testing teams both in-house and around the world.

I have spent my whole professional life in IT in different roles – tester, consultant, pre-sales engineer, business analyst, scrum master, Agile Coach and project leader – to become a full-time Release Train Engineer at Demant.

Outside the office, I share my experience with the community by giving talks and organizing workshops on software testing, Leadership and Agile processes. I’m a host of the Quare MeetCast (https://www.meetup.com/Quare-MeetCast/) – a Meetup and Podcast about Testing, Quality, Agile and Software Development.

I’m passionate about building teams, shaping culture, exploratory tests and the power of the human factor in software development. Privately foodie, traveller and book lover.

Viviane Hennecke

Associate Manager – Accenture, Germany

Viviane’s focus is on structured improvements of quality processes in scaled agile product development initiatives. For that, she is combining testing experience with her background in communication management and training skills. This combination supports in defining and improving quality assurance processes, documenting and communicating them, and bringing them to life.
After working in project management at a small digital strategy consulting firm, she joined Accenture in May 2018. Completing a trainee in “Business Analysis and Testing” she took different roles that were all related to quality assurance in scaled-agile transformations such as agile tester, agile test coach, test manager for hybrid projects, and lean-quality coach. On the side she was co-creating a train-the-trainer training, collected speaker experiences, wrote articles, and contributed to a book, among other things. Overall, she is quite keen in exchanging with the testing community.
