Dionny Santiago

Director of Engineering – test.ai, USA

Dionny Santiago is a Director of Engineering at test.ai, where he leads the development of the core AI-driven testing platform. Dionny’s goal is to advance the current state of the art in software testing through the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Dionny holds a M.S. degree and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida International University (FIU). He has published and contributed to the design of test specification languages and AI-driven test generation approaches. Dionny also enjoys attending software testing conferences to both learn and share. Dionny is a member of the IEEE Computer Society and the ACM.

Sue Atkins

Consultant – Grove Software Testing, UK

A test-obsessed bug-magnet Sue Atkins has spent some thirty years helping to improve the quality of software systems. A passionate believer in accessibility and usability design she also specialises in performance testing and test process improvement. However her main focus over the last few years has been bringing new testers into the fold via test training and consultancy.

She has delivered presentations at both physical and virtual events including the inaugural UKSTAR conference in London, Codecamp Romania and Ministry of Test, Utrecht.

She is also Co-Chair of the Scottish Testing Group – a voluntary, not for profit group hosting knowledge sharing events for testers across Scotland and worldwide.

Isabel Evans

Freelance – United Kingdom

After more than 30 years in IT, on software industry projects, quality and testing practitioner Isabel Evans is now a part-time post graduate student at the University of Malta. Her research focuses on human factors in test automation. Her interest in this topic arose from real life experiences as a test manager, quality manager and test consultant. Isabel authored Achieving Software Quality through Teamwork and chapters in Agile Testing: How to Succeed in an eXtreme Testing Environment, The Testing Practitioner, and Foundations of Software Testing. A popular speaker and storyteller at software conferences worldwide, Isabel has chaired EuroSTAR (2019) and HUSTEF (2018), as well as presenting tutorials and keynotes at conferences world-wide. She is a Chartered IT Professional and Fellow of the British Computer Society, and received the 2017 EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award

Lee Barnes

CTO – Utopia Solutions, USA

Lee has over 25 years of experience in the Software Quality Assurance and Testing field. He has been involved in the implementation of test automation and performance testing solutions in hundreds of environments across a wide array of industries. Most recently, Lee has been involved with bringing quality practices (with a focus on automation and performance) to DevOps teams.

Lee speaks regularly on quality and testing topics at a wide range of conferences including TestCon Europe, Agile+DevOps East/West, STAREAST, STPCon and DevOpsDays

For more than 20 years I have been passionate about bringing business, people and technology closer together. Overall the story has been business process development and optimisation. Within this, it has been a story of facilitating business processes and rulesets that would let themselves translate into IT – and further into usable and understandable solutions for users, internal as well as external.

After having built *a lot* of business systems over the years, the next logical step was to make users lives even easier – by eliminating quality issues and bad code through automated test. But – firmly in the hands of the business savvy functional tester – after all; it is more important to know what to automate to obtain the best quality; rather than how.

Adam Matlacz

Senior Project Leader – Demant, Poland

Adam has spent his whole professional life in the IT in different roles – tester, consultant, pre-sales engineer, business analyst, scrum master and Agile Coach. Now he works as a full-time Senior Project Leader at Demant. Outside the office, he passionately shares his experience with the community by giving talks and organizing workshops on software testing, Leadership and Agile processes.

His last project is his original workshop “Creative Testing Masterclass” where he teaches a creative approach to testing, thinking outside the box and unconventional testing techniques.

He develops the test community within the Quare.dev MeetCast group where World-class experts are invited for a meetup to share knowledge and experiences. Each meeting after recording is published as a podcast.

Adam is passionate about building teams, shaping culture, exploratory tests and power of human factor in software development. He is also a foodie, traveller and book lover.

Elżbieta Sikora

Elżbieta joined the IT world a few years ago but quickly found out that she has a knack for testing. Her passion is finding out new – better – ways of working. She constantly works on developing her skills, looking for inspiration to other domains. On her path of discovery, she stepped upon the idea of CSI testing – which she developed into a full-blown testing framework.
