He has been involved in the implementation of test automation and performance testing solutions in hundreds of environments across a wide array of industries. Most recently, Lee has been involved with bringing quality practices (with a focus on automation and performance) to DevOps teams.

For more than 20 years I have been passionate about bringing business, people and technology closer together. Overall the story has been business process development and optimisation. Within this, it has been a story of facilitating business processes and rulesets that would let themselves translate into IT – and further into usable and understandable solutions for users, internal as well as external.

After having built *a lot* of business systems over the years, the next logical step was to make users lives even easier – by eliminating quality issues and bad code through automated test. But – firmly in the hands of the business savvy functional tester – after all; it is more important to know what to automate to obtain the best quality; rather than how.

Senior Project Leader – Demant, Poland

Adam has spent his whole professional life in the IT in different roles – tester, consultant, pre-sales engineer, business analyst, scrum master and Agile Coach. Now he works as a full-time Senior Project Leader at Demant. Outside the office, he passionately shares his experience with the community by giving talks and organizing workshops on software testing, Leadership and Agile processes.

His last project is his original workshop “Creative Testing Masterclass” where he teaches a creative approach to testing, thinking outside the box and unconventional testing techniques.

He develops the test community within the Quare.dev MeetCast group where World-class experts are invited for a meetup to share knowledge and experiences. Each meeting after recording is published as a podcast.

Adam is passionate about building teams, shaping culture, exploratory tests and power of human factor in software development. He is also a foodie, traveller and book lover.

Elżbieta Sikora

Test Developer – Demant, Poland

Elżbieta joined the IT world a few years ago but quickly found out that she has a knack for testing. Her passion is finding out new – better – ways of working. She constantly works on developing her skills, looking for inspiration to other domains. On her path of discovery, she stepped upon the idea of CSI testing – which she developed into a full-blown testing framework. Elżbieta is an example of what happens if a determined person sets an ambitious goal and decides to follow her passion

Ken Munro

Partner – Pen Test Partners, U.K.

Ken is a founder of Pen Test Partners, a firm of ethical hackers. He regularly blogs, and speaks about everything from Systemic Issues in the Internet of Things, to Critical National Infrastructure security and hacking cars. He also writes for various newspapers and magazines in an effort to get beyond the unhelpful scaremongering punted by many security vendors.

This has led to regular appearances on TV and with online news agencies as well as the broadsheet press. Ken has become a voice for reform and legislative change, speaking at TEDx, and briefing UK and US government departments. He is also involved with various EU consumer councils and is a member of the CVE Board.

Mili Orucevic

Discipline Lead, Testing and QA – Visma, Norway

I´m a technology leader, passionate about software testing, development, and leadership. I work on helping teams move towards modern software development and testing practices, utilising continuous delivery, DevOps and public cloud by applying practices and principles from books like “Continuous Delivery: Reliable Software Releases through Build, Test, and Deployment Automation”, “Accelerate: Building and Scaling High Performing Technology Organisations” and other titles from IT-Revolution. Currently I´m the Discipline Lead for Software Testing and Quality Assurance area, responsible for driving the software testing field within Visma, running a software testing guild, and facilitating workshops, courses and other learning and development efforts for test engineers. 

I like to look ahead and try to challenge the status quo of software development and testing and explore how to utilize learnings from other fields such as leadership, and psychology, and embed these into software development and testing practices. 

Together with 3 others, I also run the Norwegian Test Forum, and organise monthly meetups related to Software Testing and Quality Assurance in Norway – where people with passion for testing gather for knowledge sharing and networking. 

Andrew Brown

Dr Andrew Brown is a principal consultant at Expleo. He leads an independent line of research into understanding why we humans make the mistakes that lead to software defects.

He has 25 years’ experience in the software industry. Previous roles include Head of QA at HMV, Head of QA at a financial software house and a test manager in Japan. He holds a degree in Physics and Maths, an MBA from Warwick Business School and a doctorate from Imperial College
