Throughout my career as a tester, consultant and manager I was always mostly interested in QA process improvement. Searching for ways to enable testing as leverage to mitigate risk in different contexts always opens a lot of different paths that need investigating and are much dependent on the business you are operating in. I’ve spent half of my 1.5-decade career in software houses but was also involved in test outsourcing service company for almost 3 years. Different experiences with startups, large enterprises and growing mid-sized companies allowed me to build a solid foundation which I am currently exercising holding a QA Manager position at Netguru. We’ve been growing as a company and so was the entire QA team (together with me), pushing us to searching for new solutions that allow building partnerships with our client in an effort to help them with their businesses. I am a huge context-driven approach supporter and I really think „it depends” is always a good starting point to answer a difficult question… 

Jana Gierloff

Jana Gierloff is a Senior Quality Assistance Engineer at InnoGames who was introducing and leading the transition to Quality Assistance at Forge of Empires. With 10+ years of experience in the games industry, Jana empowers the team to confidently test by providing trainings, tools, and environments. She has a very good track-record of inspiring testers and teams to take their testing to new levels and to find unexpected bugs in unexpected ways, as well as providing help with all automation matters. Curious and passionate about testing she also speaks at software conferences all over the world.

Zoran Gjorgiev

Quality Assistance Engineer – InnoGames, Germany

Zoran Gjorgiev is a Quality Assistance Engineer at InnoGames and for the last 4 years has worked on the successful title Forge of Empires. He started as a Community Manager but his passion and efforts towards the game’s quality standards lead him to join the ranks of QAE. Having an appreciation of technology but wanting to explore a field that offers far more opportunities than coding on a daily basis, he found this to be a perfect fit. He’s always looking to learn and improve and strives for growth both on a personal and team level. Seeing the team embrace the quality mindset is what keeps him motivated.

Laveena Ramchandani

Senior Test Consultant – Deloitte, UK

Laveena Ramchandani is an experienced Testing Consultant with a comprehensive understanding of tools available for software testing and analysis. She aims to provide valuable insights that have high technical aptitude and hopes to inspire others in the world through her work. Laveena holds a degree in Business Computing from Queen Mary University of London and regularly speaks at events on data science models and other topics.

Irja Straus

Senior Quality Control Analyst & Team Leader – Infobip, Croatia

After her adventure in product management, Irja has gone back to her first love – Software Testing. She’s currently a Senior Quality Control Analyst and Team Leader in Infobip – global cloud communications platform, responsible for the SaaS products testing strategy.

She likes to learn the human and business side of software, experiment with products to investigate risks, and advocate bugs that matter. She loves to do software testing, and she never wrote the same test strategy twice in her 10-year career.

Christian Kram

Coach – oose Innovative Informatik, Germany,

After graduating in linguistics, I stepped directly into the field of comparative product testing before getting into software testing, which I haven’t left ever since. I currently work as a trainer, coach and consultant for oose Innovative Informatik eG. My core areas in those roles are software testing and agile methodology. I helped getting customers the quality they need for nearly 15 years in different roles, ranging from manual tester in comparative product evaluation over automotive test manager to head of testing for ERP software. My main topics are in the field of agile testing, getting people to work together and establishing quality in the whole software development cycle.

In addition to being a software testing coach, outside of work, I have also been a basketball coach for over 20 years.

Rik Marselis

Principal Quality Consultant – Sogeti, Netherlands

Rik Marselis is principal quality consultant at Sogeti in the Netherlands. He is a well-appreciated presenter, trainer, author, consultant and coach who supported many organizations and people in improving their quality engineering practice by providing useful tools & checklists, practical support and having in-depth discussions. His presentations are always appreciated for their liveliness, his ability to keep the talks serious but light, and his use of practical examples with humorous comparisons. 

Rik is an accredited trainer for TMAP, ISTQB and TPI certification training courses, but also, he has created and delivered many bespoke workshops and training courses. For example, on Intelligent Machines and DevOps testing. 

Rik is a fellow of Sogeti’s R&D network SogetiLabs. These R&D activities result in presentations, books, white-papers, articles, podcasts and blogs about IT in general and quality engineering in particular. In 2020 his latest book “Quality for DevOps teams” was presented. 

Anne Colder

Software Engineer – Rabobank, Netherlands,

Anne Colder is a passionate test automation engineer, who entered the world of testing as a molecular life scientist and philosopher looking for new challenges. Anne’s sharp and studious mind combined with broad social skills allowed her to face these challenges and to grow from testing into test automation and development. After several projects and companies she currently works at the Rabobank where she solves automation challenges and engages in several professional communities. Always sharing knowledge and experience, she maintains a vlog as one of the Dutch Test Amigas.

Jantien Van der Meer

Test Specialist – Bartosz ICT, Netherlands

After my education Humans & Informatics, I started my career as test consultant in 2007. Now, 12 years later, I still get a lot of energy and joy from my job as a test specialist. My wide area of interests and enormous curiosity, e.g. in new systems, environments, people, and ways of working, enable me to keep developing myself, and let myself be amazed by the world around me. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and ideas, and thus draw others into my passion for the profession.

I thoroughly enjoy challenges: Whether it is getting into the code, supporting my team to become more ‘quality infected’ or participating in the national championship software testing.

Gáspár Nagy is the creator of SpecFlow, regular conference speaker, blogger, editor of the BDD Addict monthly newsletter, and co-author of the books “Discovery: Explore behaviour using examples” and “Formulation: Document examples with Given/When/Then“.

Gáspár is an independent coach, trainer and test automation expert focusing on helping teams implementing BDD and SpecFlow. He has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software development and has worked as an architect and agile developer coach.
