Tariq King

Chief Scientist – test.ai, USA

Tariq King enjoys breaking things and is currently the Chief Scientist at test.ai, where he leads research and development of their core platform for AI-driven testing. He started his career in academia as a tenure-track professor and later transitioned into the software industry. Tariq previously held positions as a test architect, manager, director, and head of quality. He has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed software testing books, journals, conferences, and workshops. He is a member of the ACM and IEEE Computer Society, and serves as a board member and keynote speaker for several international software engineering and testing conferences.

Ashley Hunsberger

Ashley is the Director of Developer and Agile Advocacy at Blackboard, Inc, where she focuses on advocating for engineers and how they deliver software. Janet specializes in showing agile teams how testing activities are necessary to develop good quality products. Maaret Pyhäjärvi is an exploratory tester extraordinaire with a day-job at Vaisala as Principal Test Engineer. She is a tester, (polyglot) programmer, speaker, author, and a community facilitator. She has been awarded the two prestigious global testing awards, Most Influential Agile Testing Professional Person 2016 (MIATPP) and EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award (2020), and selected as Top-100 Most Influential in ICT in Finland 2019&2020. 

Michiel Boreel

Group Chief Technology Officer – Sogeti, Netherlands

Educated as an Industrial Engineer, Michiel Boreel is working in the IT Industry for over 30 years. Now in the role of Chief Technology Officer and EVP contributing to the innovation in Sogeti, one of Capgemini’s strategic business units. 

In 1994 Michiel created a thinktank with the goal of inspiring clients to apply new technology in business processes. Constant theme in all research is what role IT plays in society and how technology creates meaningful business innovation. Since the institute’s start it has published over 15 books and many reports (see labs.sogeti.com). Two of the latest publications are “Infinite Machine Creativity” and “Digital Happiness”.

Aprajita Mathur

Associate Director Bioinformatics System Software Engineering – Guardant Health, USA

Aprajita Mathur is a mom, inventor, mentor and international speaker with an engineering background in Bioinformatics. She has more than 15+ years of software testing experience. She has worked on a wide range of products like instrument software, LIMS, integrated solutions and data analysis pipelines which are used in the fields of agriculture , transplant genomics, forensics and oncology. Currently she leads the Bioinformatics Software Test team at Guardant Health, which is a leading precision oncology company dedicated to helping conquer cancer through their proprietary blood tests, vast data sets, and advanced analytics. She also leads the chapter for “Women Who Test” in the bay area and hopes to grow this community. In her spare time, she loves to catch up on sleep and write new songs for her son

Rob Lambert

Consultant – Cultivated Management, UK

Rob Lambert is on a mission to make management more interesting, rewarding, and fun. It’s an uphill struggle. Rob started his career as a software tester, became an engineering manager, and then made the logical move sideways to HR, before setting up his own management consulting company.  When he’s not talking all things management, he writes books, help parents remain employable, takes photos of cars, podcasts about stationery, explores the English countryside with his family, and writes TV and film scripts. His biggest achievement to date is surviving parenthood to three boys. Interestingly, he hopes they grow up with their mothers bone structure as Rob has broken almost every bone in his body and spent most of his teenage years at the Accident and Emergency hospital.
