An award-winning international keynote speaker, published author, data viz/analytics expert, and specialist in efficiency/process improvement, he is indeed in high demand, speaking at dozens of conferences annually, extending his reach into more than twenty countries around the globe. I have 10 years of experience in software testing, and I love to share my knowledge and experiences. Besides my work as a QA engineer on projects, I have been a competence coach QA for Axxes for 2 years now, a role where I can do this perfectly.

Anne Kramer, PhD, started her career at Schlumberger Systems in Paris. In 2001 she joined Sepp.Med GmbH, a German IT Service Provider specialized in quality assurance, where she spent more than 20 years as Project Manager, Senior Consultant and trainer. In parallel, Anne, tri-lingual German, English and French, shared her expertise in testing methodologies in various forums. She also contributed to the development of the ISTQB Model-Based Tester syllabus and wrote (in collaboration with Pr Bruno Legeard) a guide book for testers wishing to prepare the ISTQB Model-Based Tester certification exam. Passionate with advanced test design techniques, Anne has recently joined Smartesting as Global Customer Success Manager to help the company to spread it technological innovations on the international testing market.

My clients include retail and telecommunications, banking and social media, rapidly-evolving internet start-ups, traditional large-scale enterprise, and government bodies. I’ve worked as an innovator (loved it), and as a standardiser (less so). I work as a consultant with an eye for strategy, quality and motivation, and have stepped into roles as manager, mentor, advocate and implementer.

I have worked within the field of software testing for over two decades, from testing IPv6 implementations in embedded software, to helping IT organizations with challenges in test processes. Since 2018 part of my time has been dedicated to research around the topic of verification and validation of Machine Learning functionality. Over the last couple of years I have tried to give back to the software community by lecturing and speaking at conferences, and hold courses in test methodologies at a local polytechnical college. I have been working as a test system developer and engineer for three years, mainly towards virtual testing and verification. My biggest interest is in the field of Machine Learning. It’s the selected focus of my Master’s education and thesis – how to verify the intended functionality of something trained but not coded. In two research projects carried out at Infotiv, I’ve been exploring this, finding argumentative patterns as well as hidden biases and issues concealed in one of today’s “hottest” topics. Sharing is caring, as they say, and I hope to be able to enlighten these issues and discuss them with you.
