He’s passionate about teaching and feels at home when standing in front of a classroom. A couple of years ago, he became a full-time trainer, coaching and teaching about the wonderful world of testing but also ISTQB, IREB, IQBBA, test design techniques, soft skills, etc… As a veteran youth instructor with a passion for learning theories and people management, Wim is constantly looking for new ideas to improve his own performance and that of the entire testing team.

Most of her career she has worked as a test consultant in various areas including transport, financial, human resources and machine data. At the moment she is working as a Process Manager at BDO Holding in the Netherlands, where she is responsible for improving the process and product quality. She also puts her effort in shaping a learning culture with focus on sharing experiences of different professionals and teams in order to learn and improve. She’s passionate about testing and quality management and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience.

Sophie studied mathematics at university which did not go as planned. She finished with a diploma nonetheless. By serendipity she stumbled into agile testing – and has never looked back. She now works happily as an agile tester at cronn GmbH, a Bonn based IT company, where she specializes in test automation using Karate DSL. Please do not challenge her to a physical karate duel though – she is much more of a dancer than a fighter. No stranger to the universe’s gut punches, she is passionate about mental health, self-care and improving awareness and communication.

I cut my teeth in U.S. Banking Operations and Online Product Management before launching a first-ever, multi-national testing department for one of the larger banks in Germany. The focus was squarely on identifying and delivering testing strategies for mobile, multi-channel and multi-platform banking products. I spent over a decade leading subject experts to driving technology solutions for sales, operations, and product departments. Through creating an in-house testing department and leading the transition to agile practices during the pandemic, I offer practical advice of success and stumbles from the trenches.

In her spare time she learns everything she can about cognition, evolution, astronomy and astrobiology. She’s a year-round swimmer who loves a cold bath or a hot yoga room. Emma’s new years resolution is that she’ll be able to do the lotus and the splits by the end of the year.

Hanna started her testing career by getting some training in testing at her first job after university, it was love at first sight! Throughout her 10 years in testing, she has worked in multiple fields such as MedTech and Telecom and in a lot of different stages of testing. Being a very curious person Hanna loves the ever-changing world of testing. When she’s not working you’ll most likely find her outside walking with her husband and dog or binge-watching some old tv-series.

As a life-long student of human interaction and system optimization, I regularly delve into either or both subjects to find a new angle on improving testing as a craft. Taking on the title of Pathfinder I try to live up to the role by finding new perspectives, advancements and enhancements for testing and organizations in general. I’ve worked for retail, finance, medical and a host of other types of clients and projects. Using this variety of industries I’ve done my best to mix my experience together with that of hundreds of test experts and learning consultants, often engaging both the technological and psychological sides of testing. My interest always remains in the individual, and how each person has something to add to the body of knowledge. Stories are a constant in my life. As such, I dedicate much of my training and leisure time to seeking, hearing and continuing the stories of others. I enjoy conference for just such a reason, where we all can come together to share our slice of life and learn from one another.
